How To Better Understand Native English Speakers | Connected Speech

"Native English speakers talk too fast and I can't understand them!"

This is a complaint that I hear all the time. As a native speaker of English, I use relaxed speech or connected speech to make it easier to pronounce whole phrases and sentences.

This can be confusing for learners because the sounds of speech are different from the way individual words are pronounced.

Here is a great example: "Eyemill buttall metre necks tweak."
