Students of English: What do you love (or hate) about homework?

I'm pretty sure I know all the long list of things that teachers like about homework, so I'd be curious to know why STUDENTS enjoy homework so much, and what benefit you see yourselves getting from it.

Conversely, if you HATE homework, tell us about that, too. Why do you dislike homework?
