Hi!

I've finished reading Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King. I have highlighted 500 hundred words. Some words are not clear to me at all. One of them is a kind of a shop I've never heard before i.e. Rock-and-gem shop.

What kind of shop it is?
Is it typical for your country?
