If you are like most ESL learners, you are likely very frustrated and have limited resources. That is probably why you are here, and while there is absolutely NO substitute to speaking with one of us teachers on here, you can and should be doing other things outside of a speaking class to enhance and progress your skills.

Here is one website that I would recommend using regardless of your level in English. Try using it 30 minutes to one hour each day and combine it with a speaking class here (2-4 times per week depending on your level). If you are consistent with this advice, I would venture to say that you will likely be noticing a fair amount of progress over the next 3-6 months of this type of activity.

And remember take advantage of experienced teachers here. Do not be fooled by teachers that are "affordable." There is an old saying we often use: You get what you pay for. If you want a quality learning experience, then find ways to work with someone who knows what they are doing. You won't regret it!
