Good, bad or fine.

As a high school teacher, I sometimes get tired of receiving the same answers.

"How are you today?"
"Good."
"Just good?"
"Very good!"
"And how was your weekend?"
"Good!"

Good and bad can have such broad meanings. It's great to diversify our vocabulary and use more specific words when we want to voice our opinion on something or say how we are.

Instead of very good, why not try - excellent, amazing, awesome, incredible, astounding, mindblowing, spectacular!!!

Instead of very bad, why not try - terrible, awful, horrible, dreadful, mediocre, horrific...

What other words do you use to avoid the good, bad, or fine trap?
