My native language is Spanish and I also speak English fluently. I would be happy to help you speak and practice Spanish. I like to have classes that are simple, fun and pleasant; I think that one of the ways that we can learn another language is through the culture, food and everything related with it. For that reason, I like to have the classes according to your needs. Basically, I like to adjust to your needs since we all have different ways to learn a language. After that I spent much of my time to volunteer teaching (20 years). I have also attended some courses that have helped me to improve my teaching techniques. I've worked for 3 different universities as Spanish Teacher and Lector in France. I have a masters degree in Spanish as Second Language and another one in Spanish Culture and Civilization. I'm currently a PhD. Candidate in Hispanic Studies. I am a professional translator specialized in audiovisual field (subtitling and dubbing) which cultivated a special interest in teaching my own language, job that I have performed successfully since 2012. In class, I talk to my students about different topics, the ones that they find more interesting, while I take notes of the different problems I might see. Simultaneously I correct mistakes and explain the specific grammar rules related to the subject. Then I propose exercises to help them improve their performance.
