The time slots you see here look limited, but I'm flexible and I alter my availability to suit us both once we meet in your trial lesson. My main speciality is Medical English/OET classes and English international exam tutoring.
Hi there!
I'm Carolyn and I come from Scotland. I'm an English teacher with over 20 years experience. Most of my teaching has been abroad for the British Council, in countries such as Thailand, Azerbaijan and Hong Kong. I have also taught in many of the universities in Hong Hong as a Visiting Lecturer in subjects like Healthcare, Travel & Tourism, Business and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
I have a TESOL teaching certificate and a Master's in Education (Applied Linguistics). I moved back to the UK five years ago and now teach online, mainly IELTS test preparation and the Occupational English Test (OET) for healthcare professionals. I am a registered OET provider listed on their official website.
If your goal is to pass your IELTS or OET, I can help you as I have so much experience and skill in these specific areas. The lessons are yours so they would not follow a syllabus or set plan, but be purely based upon your needs and wants. I absolutely love what I do and seeing my students make progress to reach their goals.
