He notado que es comรบn que los estudiantes confundan las expresiones "estoy caliente" y "tengo calor", pero debes tener MUCHO CUIDADO con esto! Sabes por quรฉ?
En espaรฑol, estar caliente tiene 2 posibles significados:
1) Estar enojado/ enfadado con alguien.
Ejemplo: Estoy caliente con Juan porque se olvidรณ nuestra cita. ๐ก
2) Sentir atracciรณn sexu@l muy fuerte (uso vulgar de la lengua). ๐ฅ๐
Por otro lado, "tener calor" se refiere a la sensaciรณn que tenemos cuando la temperatura estรก alta, como en este ejemplo: la temperatura estรก muy alta hoy, por eso tengo calor .

I've noticed that it is common for students to confuse the expressions "estoy caliente" and "tengo calor", but you have to be VERY CAREFUL with this! Do you know why?
In Spanish, "estar caliente" has 2 possible meanings:
1) Being angry with someone.
Example: Estoy caliente con Juan porque se olvidรณ nuestra cita๐ก
2) Feeling very strong sexu@l attraction (vulgar use of language). ๐ฅ๐
On the other hand, "tener calor" refers to the feeling you experience when the temperature is high, as in this example: "la temperatura estรก muy alta hoy, por eso tengo calor".
