I teach because it is fun. At secondary school, my friends asked me to help them with math and economics. I started teaching Dutch as a student at university. My pupils were usually business school students. Later on, I moved to a different university, in Nijmegen, and taught subjects like environmental economics, history and Dutch language. After finishing another project at the university, I decided to start my own IT company. As a company owner, I do projects for companies all over the world, including the department of Languages and Cultures at the University of London. Currently, I spend approximately half of my time as a language teacher and half of my time as an IT expert. I have also been working as a voluntary language teacher at a local organization in my city, which helps immigrants to start a new life in their new home country. Hello, I am Josina! I was born and raised in Belgium, so my native language is Dutch (Flemish). I am also very familiar with Dutch from the Netherlands since I used to live 12 years in Amsterdam. I have lived, studied, and worked in several wonderful places around the world. I studied Social and Cultural Anthropology in the Netherlands at the University of Amsterdam, I worked a while on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria and on the Greek Island Lefkada, I lived several years in Argentina and now, for the past 10 years, I have been living and working in Andalucía, in the south of Spain.
