Learning English through content... worth it or not?
6 лет назадAn increasing number of schools are now implementing programs where students learn English through another of their school subjects (CLIL - Content and Learning Integrated Language), instead of learning English for the sake of learning English. Instead English simply becomes the medium, and to learn about the subject, say, the digestive system for example, students will be incentivised to learn the language in order to grapple with and talk about the subject.
I'm a fan. Thoughts?
