Spanish pronunciation tip

5 лет назад
In spanish, A (pronounced as in Father), E (pronounced as in Set), O (pronounced as in Open), are strong vowels and I (y) (pronounced as in Machine), U (pronounced as in Rule) are weak vowels.

Two strong vowels cannot stand together in one syllable.

De-se-o, De-se-ar, I-de-a, Te-a-tro

A strong and a weak vowel, or two weak vowels together, form a diphthong and can be together.

Due-ño, Rui-do, Siem-pre

If the weak vowel bears a written accent, they have to be separated.

Le-ído, rí-o, pa-ís, Ma-rí-a

Hope this is helpful for you, let me know if you have any doubts!
