Many students struggles to express themselves in English because they have never really had a chance to explore and speak about their own thoughts, feelings, and opinions in English with someone. Most schools don't have the resources for this, and most native speakers don't have the time to give you. The need or desire to express your thoughts, feelings, and opinions with someone is what motivates people to improve in speaking, just as much so as listening and reading are motivated by the need or desire to understand people and the world around you. In these lessons we will focus on speaking about your thoughts, feelings, and opinions, or personalizing your language. I will give you feedback as well as model how to speak about thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Doing this, in my experience, always raises the level of confidence, fluency, accuracy, and pronunciation in students who complete the lessons.
