My name is André, and I was born and raised in Porto. Currently, I live in Braga, in the north of the country. In addition to languages and teaching, I enjoy discussing foreign cultures, geography, food, music, cinema, science, nature, and sustainability. In my free time, I like to read, play the guitar, travel, and engage in sports. I began teaching European Portuguese online in 2017. Since then, I've had the opportunity to conduct over 4,000 lessons and collaborate with more than 200 students from diverse countries and backgrounds. I am self-taught in all the languages I speak or understand as English, German, Hunsrik which is a German dialect spoken in Brazil and also a Brazilian language of signs. I have been teaching Portuguese as a second language for over 5 years with over 100 students. I love what I do and today I teach people from all over the world to speak my native language and learn more about Brazil and Brazilian culture. I am very happy to see people who believe from scratch and today speak Portuguese, it is great to see how they achieved better results through the language, working and living in Brazil or simply communicating with people they love.
