I was born and raised in a beautiful Igbo town in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.Growing up,Igbo is the predominant language spoken in my town. Spending a lot of time with my parents and grandparents enriched me with the beautiful stories of the Igbo people and Igbo land. The quest to keep Igbo language and culture alive made me take it up as a course in the university and my love for Igbo language and culture made me develop a huge interest in teaching because I know that someone out there needs to learn this beautiful language and rich cultural heritage.
I have been teaching Igbo language for over seven years and my unique teaching styles have endeared my students to me. I have taught learners of different ages and backgrounds both children and adults. I have prepared students for several Igbo language internal and external examinations and the results were splendid. I have taken learners that have no knowledge of Igbo from beginner to conversational level. My strength lies in making my students fall in love with the language thereby give their maximum interest and attention to learning .
For me, teaching Igbo language is not just teaching the words and letters. With me, you will learn the language and the beautiful Igbo culture. When I talk about culture, I mean the language, songs, proverbs, dances ,foods, traditions, dressings, folktales/folklores etc. Learning with me is interesting and fun filled. By the time you are through with me, you will write,read and speak Igbo language like a pro.
