Hi! My names is Jon! I have been teaching English for the last five and a half years , and have loved every minute of it. I started as an Assistant Language Teacher in public elementary, jr.high and high schools in Tokunoshima, Japan, teaching English to everyone from kindergartners to retirees. Returning to the United States, I taught English in private and public schools, as well as online. Now I teach English at university to native and nonnative speakers.
My method is quite simple: start at whatever level a student is with their English language ability, find out what interests them, and work from there. Slowly but surely, over guided study and practice, bring my student to new heights.
