Hi everyone! My name is Ángela and I live in a small village in Almería, on the South coast of Spain. I'm a positive and creative person that loves languages, music, books, movies, sociology, traveling, wildlife... and many other things! Some time ago, I worked as a physiotherapist, but I didn't feel really satisfied with my profession, so one fine day I decided to turn my life around and to engage for once in my true vocation: to teach Spanish!
I’ve been living and working in Exeter (United Kingdom) and Angers (France), and also spent a brief period of time in Berlín (Germany). So, I can speak English (C1) and French (B1). For this reason, because I have the first-hand experience, I can say that I know the challenges that foreign languages learners have to face.
I love teaching my language, so I’m enthusiastic and totally committed to my students and their learning. As a teacher, I am also patient and emphatic; it's really important to me that my students feel good and comfortable in class so that they can learn efficiently while enjoying. I think that the key to learning a language successfully is lots of practice and high motivation, so if you choose me as your teacher, I promise to provide you with both, for sure!
My lessons are usually created by myself, always tailored to each student’s needs and preferences. To design them, I always consider your evolution, difficulties, strong points, and personal interest.
My priority is to create an environment where you can feel free and comfortable:
– to communicate in Spanish from the beginning, acquiring new vocabulary and Spanish structures in a natural and intuitive way.
– to develop your Spanish language skills at your own pace, always focusing on exactly what you need.
– to accept your mistakes as part of the process. Don’t worry about mistakes! In fact, every error is an opportunity to learn.
