As a religious person, I have always been taught the importance of transmitting knowledge, therefore I have acquired throughout my life abilities in oratory and a lot of experience in teaching. I’ve lived all my life in the US, but when I married, I moved to the Amazon in Ecuador to work as a voluntary teacher for the indigenous Shuar people.
While learning the native Shuar language, I've realized that the best way to absorb a language is to submerge yourself into that culture and try to understand it. So my approach to language learning is understanding every day life and vocabulary within that culture. And I am a pro-technology person. So I interact a lot with audio, video and digital activities to promote learning. Combining my 120 hours TESOL Certification, plus many years of experience as a teacher, I guarantee great methods of learning a new language and enjoying it.
