Hi! I'm Lisa and I would love for you to join me in my classroom where your English skills will improve significantly!

I have been a certified teacher for thirty years and I've taught students of all ages, from preschool through adults. My main role currently is teaching English to Chinese students via an internationally known popular online learning platform. I have taught nearly 6000 classes there and have over 3000 positive ratings and comments from parents.

As a teacher, I love to search out new ways of helping each student master skills and learn information. I provide an enthusiastic and inspiring learning experience that allows my students to learn in a supportive yet challenging environment. My students respond well to my instruction and it's common for my students to return to my classroom repeatedly.

If you are a beginner in English, don't worry! We will move at the pace you need so that you can master the basics. I am also a beginner in Mandarin and in Korean, so I understand the struggles that a new learner faces.

If your English skills are more advanced, we will work together to find the areas that need improvement, such as difficult pronunciations or improving conversational fluency.

Maybe you already read English well and can understand conversation, but you lack confidence in speaking. I can help! The safe nurturing environment in my classroom will be the support you need to begin to sound like a native speaker. We can work to eliminate any trace of an accent while speaking English.
