My name is María Fernanda Rueda Ochoa, I am 20 years old and I am from Cali, Colombia.
I characterize myself to be a kind, patient, committed and responsable persone.
At the moment I am starting my fourth year at university Santiago de Cali, there I am doing my degree in foreign languages (English - French), this degree is specialized in teaching, so I learn two foreign languages and I learn how to teach them. In the last six months I have done a course of SFL (Spanish Foreign Language) it was a beautiful experience where I could teach my language and my culture to people from different parts of world, I am also an independent teacher of English, doing personalized classes to some people.
I know that is not enough to know the language, is also necessary to know about the language thats why my principal guide to teach Spanish is the "Plan curricular Cervantes" (made by "El instituto Cervantes" an institution responsable to promote, teach Spanish and spread the culture of Spain and the Spanish-speaking countries.)
I accept the language as identity and culture, so when I teach I try to incorporate a cultural aspect and a comunicative purpose, but always taking into account the needs of the students and knowing the learning context of each student.
