Have you ever heard of “The Noble Pack”?

This week I have another news for you from the Polski Daily website!
„The Noble Pack” is a national social project organised by the Wiosna Association, whose main goal is material and mental help for the families and individuals in a difficult living situations. From the organisational side of things – it’s based on the work of the couple of thousand volunteers from all around Poland, coordinated from the headquarters based in Kraków. The idea of the project is so called „smart help”, that is supposed to give the chosen families the right equipment to start solving their problems on their own – in other words – to help them by giving them a fishing rod and not just a fish!
The help is provided to the families during the great final of the Nobel Pack, called „the weekend of miracles”, which happens annually, always two weeks before Christmas.
The project started in the year 2000. From 2009 the First Lady Maria Kaczyńska become one of the contributors, which started the tradition that every year the president and the First Lady prepare their own “Noble Pack”.
Through the years, both in Poland and abroad, the packages have been prepared by different famous Polish sportsmen and sportswomen, artists, etc., and also – players from Real Madrid football team and Pope Francis. From 2017 the national campaign named “I like people” started, it coordinates all of the projects of the Noble Pack! So – do you also like people? If so, now you know how you can help! :)
