Greetings, I am teacher Dale and I’m from the United States.
I'm hear to help you with all your English needs.
I was inspired to make teaching my career many years ago. While living in Korea I realized how much of an impact I was having on my students’ lives and futures, and loved seeing my students succeed. This love is what still drives me today, nothing brings me more joy than seeing a student achieve that needed IELTS score, landing their desired job, or simply having a memorable conversation in English. With the proper guidance you can achieve anything.
Teaching English is my life for many years and I have a masters degree in TESOL. I’ve taught in Korea, both public and private schools and for the office of education. In Singapore teaching at an international college. Currently I’m the head master at a large international English school in the Philippines. I also have years of experience teaching students on line, both children and adults.
I believe in context teaching, which is teaching by seeing the language in use, rather than just memorizing lists of words. Thus, I not only teach the vocabulary and phrases, I show you how it’s used. I teach grammar the same way, after learning the rules, we practice it in use. I find that this strategy works well with both adults and children.
My teaching expertise includes IELTS (speaking and writing), TEOIC (speaking and writing), business English, and ESL (grammar, writing, and speaking). I have a lot of materials and lessons that I have personally prepared and use with my students for studying. I also use a wide variety of teaching materials from Oxford and Cambridge, depending on my student’s needs.
Above all though, I keep my lessons fun and interesting, this is essential, because a bored student isn’t a student learning.
