Quadrilingual (French, English, Spanish and German) I’m passionate about travel and foreign languages. I’m originally a City Planer I changed my career to become a French teacher. After some years of professional experience in both Germany and France, I travelled around the world during 3 years learning other languages and teaching French to different kind of people.
I am currently preparing a certification of the Alliance Française especially made for the French as a foreign language teachers.
I am a very patient and detail-oriented person. It is very important for me to take all the time needed for my students to understand 100% of my point, a grammatical or social concept. It is way more easy to learn something you get 100%.
A language is not only a sum of rules, grammar and boring vocabulary lists. It is before everything a way to share and communicate between several persons in all kind of situations. It is also a chance to discover some new social and cultural experiences. I like to use social aspects and cultural differences during my lessons as a teaching support. In that way you also develop your social and cultural awareness.
My methodology is based on real-life situations sometimes using real-life documents. I am always adapting my lessons to fit the level, needs, difficulties and interests of my students. Those will be identified together during a first contact so we can build a clear working plan.
Thanks to my international working experiences I have a great adaptation capacity.
Completely fluent in English, I learnt Spanish (C1 level) and German (B2 level) in language schools in Colombia and Germany during several months. Thanks to those student experiences it is very easy to put myself at your place and to identify your strengths and weaknesses.
Please do not hesitate to contact me. It will be a great pleasure for me to talk with you about your goals, your needs and wishes regarding French lessons.
