I am a native speaker of American English and have over 9 years of online ESL teaching experience! Although I have a B.A. in Computer Science, my real passion is assisting ESL students of all ages and levels gain proficiency of the English language. Earning a TESOL certification provided the opportunity to hone the skills necessary to facilitate all learners with classes targeted at improving communication skills. I take pride in being professional, reliable, and focused on the success of my students.

My method of teaching is a technique known as Task-Based Learning in which learning revolves around the completion of meaningful tasks. In the TBL approach, the main focus is the authentic use of language for genuine communication. In addition, in all my lessons we focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and vocabulary/idioms.

Recently, I have gained valuable experience that is perfectly matched with the duties of an online English teacher. First, as an Online English Tutor, I conducted 45 minute English courses with technical professionals. Each session's aim was to enhance the student's abilities in speaking, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary. By providing constructive and positive feedback the learner's confidence is built-up, which is a key to success. Next, for over 4 years I served as an Online English Teacher assisting advanced ESL students on a one-on-one basis with a focus on: General English, Business English and accent reduction.

Finally, I am thrive on conducting lessons that engages each student's learning style. Special effort is made to keep lessons dynamic and result-oriented. I am committed to empowering ESL students to succeed while inculcating a passion for learning.
