Hi, there! I’m Gina, and I live and work between Oxford and London in the United Kingdom, where I recently completed my Masters of Fine Art (MFA) degree focused on Multimedia Storytelling. I grew up in New York metropolitan area in the US, and I completed my undergraduate studies in Philadelphia. I hold an Honors Bachelors degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, one of the best English degree programmes in the world! I specialise in topics around literature, writing, and book publishing, and I have a particular love for poetry and the visual arts.
I’m a passionate English language educator, who has been teaching privately since 2012. As a teacher, I have an engaging, dynamic, creative, and fun approach. I'm flexible to adapt to the needs of my my student. I work closely with my students to help them express themselves clearly and with emotion, so they can learn how to best interact with others and maintain their unique personalities. With each lesson, my students learn new vocabulary.
I also enjoy teaching the nuts and bolts of English grammar, using worksheets to demonstrate and practice the rules through writing what we also practice verbally through our conversation.
I’ll design a scheme specifically to meet your goals and needs — whether for professional work, school, or to communicate better with friends or family that speak English! I love talking about setting your personal goals and working together strategically, lesson by lesson. You can count on me to motivate you to achieve your best in the English language — and we can share and swap fun stories you’ll always remember in the meantime!
