Interesting video: There has been a recent update to the Common European Framework Reference level of English proficiency; the change is made to reflect the recent consensus experts has reached on what makes a fluent speaker.
I am so happy that they decided to change it!
I am in absolute and total agreement with the youtube video maker. I have said it before and I will say it again to students. "you do not automatically need a native born English teacher" you need a good English teacher. The problems students face is their inability to know who is a good English teacher and who isn't. And I will say this again to students. "accents are not important" what is important is TO SPEAK CLEARLY. Everybody has an accent or dialect "by accident of birth".
