I am a student of the bachelor’s degree in modern Languages at University of Los Andes and this will be my last year of studies. I have worked as a French assistant for the subjects French I and French II, so I got experience on teaching languages. Moreover, I studied one semester in the Czech Republic where I had the opportunity to teach Spanish and to learn from this experience.
My teaching method would vary according to the necessities of each student. We will use texts to read, to practice comprehension and pronunciation. We will also use audio recordings or Spanish songs. I will send assignments at the end of each class to encourage students to keep practicing the language until the next class. I also think that it is a good idea to teach a language by learning about a new culture. So, the student and I would focus on a specific Spanish-speaking country to study and to learn its culture.
