Hello everyone! I’m Kinga, from Warsaw, Poland and I am a professional Polish teacher. I have been working as a Language Teacher for the past 6 years. I teach everything from beginners to advanced Polish and have taught a range of ages and abilities. I speak three languages fluently (Polish as a Native Speaker, English and Spanish). I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Literature Studies.
I will help with your speaking, writing and grammar. Each lesson is prepared with you in mind, we will study what you need based on your interests and needs.
In our classes we can focus on the following themes: Communication and Speaking Skills, Grammar, Listening and Reading, Comprehension, Culture and of course Pronunciation! (yes, you will learn how to pronounce all the szczćśąąąęęeżż letters!)
All over the internet people are saying that Polish is the hardest language to learn or one of the hardest which is just simply not true! Many things that would be challenging in other languages aren’t in Polish!
- No articles (One of the most difficult pieces of grammar to learn in English, is when to use “the”, “a”, “an” or nothing at all. In Polish, there are no articles! So, you don't need to worry about them at all.)
- No word order (In English and many other languages, the order of the words in a sentence is very important to the meaning. In Polish, word order is mostly unimportant!)
- Few verb tenses (waaay less tenses than in English!)
- The alphabet is 95% phonetic! (The Polish alphabet is almost entirely phonetic. Once you know the rules, you can look at any word and know how to pronounce it.)
I look forward to meeting you online and helping you achieve your goals in Polish so don't hesitate and let’s begin!
