こんにちは。Konnichiwa! Are you interested in Japanese language/culture or planning to go to Japan? I am an experienced and qualified Japanese language teacher. I've been teaching Japanese language as a second language for over 11 years. I studied English and currently learning Spanish, so I know exactly what the challenges (and rewards!) of learning a language are like. I also work as a translator. My students' ages range from 10 to 86 years old. I love teaching as it is great to getting know different culture, meeting people, and amazing to see the students improve their Japanese language abilities and be able to communicate in Japanese. A little bit about myself: I like playing board games & video games, watching movies & anime, cooking & eating, travelling, and I do pilates 5 days a week. Let’s start speaking in Japanese :D NOTE: If you're interested in working with me, please book a 30-minute trial lesson first. Also, I would love to hear about your language goals (or anything else you think I should know), so feel free to send me a message when you book. I expect my students to do homework after each lesson. We shall check the homework together during the next lesson. THE TRIAL LESSON IS: - A 30 minutes introduction class. - An opportunity for you to see how the lessons work. - An opportunity for you to ask me any questions. - A way for us to create a plan for your learning goals. - A way to test your internet connection - Occasionally the connection can be problematic for some new online students. - A way to get to know each other. THE TRIAL LESSON IS NOT: - A cheap way for you to get your CV or written work corrected or translated. - A lesson which is focussed on the areas in which you need to improve. - A cheap way to get a 30-minute conversation class with the active intention of not continuing. Of course, if you decide that I am not the right teacher after the class and you wish to find another teacher then that is perfectly fine. ATTENTION: Cancellation/Rescheduling is only possible if you send a request for more than 24 hours before the lesson. However, if you are unable to give at least 24 hours notice before cancelling/rescheduling a lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged. If you are unable to give me at least 24 hours notice, please do NOT click any cancel/reschedule buttons. Also, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you are considered absent, and the full lesson fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.

I am a "Nissei" (born and raised in Mexico descended from Japanese parents). I have lived in the USA and Canada, but most of my life in Mexico. I have had several English, Japanese, and Spanish conversation groups while I was a college student. I used to work at some international companies in different positions. I think that the best way to learn other languages is by practicing, and there is no more rewarding and funny way to practice than talking!

I am a native Japanese speaker and currently living in Japan. I have been teaching Japanese for 2 years. I’ve had over 2400 classes! After I graduated my university, I studied abroad for 2 years in Australia. Therefor I can speak English. I know how stressful learning new languages. So I can help you :) I really love to talk with people from different countries and make new friends! **I can help you with** • Conversational Japanese • Listening • Pronunciation • Vocabularies • Writing hiragana, katakana and kanji • Grammar • Slang and common expressions • Formal and informal conversation • Reading (you will read articles and I will correct your mistakes) We can develop your conversational skills by talking about things that interest you! I love traveling, cuddling my cat , sleeping with my cat, learning different cultures, eating Mexican and Korean food , and chatting with my friends. My Japanese Blog: http://haruki-ta.com/ -CANCELATION OR RESCHEDULE- Please note that if you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson; it must be at least 12 hours before the lesson starts. If you want to reschedule a class, simply email me and we can change the day. If it is less than 12 hours before, you will be charged 50% of the lesson fee as it does not give me enough time to book another student. So please be careful. If you are late for a lesson by 15 minutes or more; the lesson will be cancelled and you will be fully charged. If you seem are going to be late to the class please let me know before the lesson starts.

Hi Japanese learners! I am Chiaki! みなさん はじめまして! わたしはチアキといいます。 I was born and grew up in Japan, I have lived in Australia for a year and lived in the UK for the last 5 years. In the UK I gave private Japanese lessons to several British students. I enjoyed time with my students so much that I wanted to start to teaching online to meet more people in different countries. Have you ever experienced the situation where you have taken a phrase from a Japanese textbook and said it to a Japanese person and received only a confused look in response? Probably the reason is that textbooks tend to teach Japanese in an ultra-polite form. Those basics are very important to know but you also need to know the casual way to say things, as native speakers do, to make conversations flow. This is also necessary to understand what Japanese people are saying to you. I can teach you very basic Japanese to business Japanese either in English or Japanese, depending on what level you are at. Areas I can help with include: - General Japanese – Basic Japanese( listening, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary) - Academic writing (essays, reports, dissertation and thesis writing) and proofreading - Critical reading and thinking - Conversational skills ( Casual conversation, Travel Japanese, Business conversation, Job interview practice ) - Pronunciation - Slang and idioms I understand the challenges of learning a second language because I taught myself English, so I can provide you with tips to learn the language in an efficient, and most importantly, fun way! See you on a trial lesson! ではトライアルレッスンでお会いしましょう!
