Hello! I am a native English-speaker from the U.S., and I have been teaching English for more than 10 years. I also studied and lived for many years in Ecuador, so I speak fluent Spanish as well. I understand how it feels to learn another language!

My specialty is adult learners, from any language background, starting at about University age. In addition, I have special skills with people who may think they are too old to learn a language!

The best thing about my lessons are: 1) You will speak a lot! 2) You will feel relaxed! 3) You will soon feel more confident when using English!
4) You will learn exactly what YOU need, so you make progress FASTER!

I can help you with speaking, pronunciation, accent modification, and listening comprehension - in addition to academic writing, reading, grammar, and test preparation.

No matter what language you speak, I can help you make your English better. I have many years' experience working with people who speak many languages - Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Turkish, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hindi, and others.

I have worked with groups who all speak the same language, and groups where everyone speaks a different language. I have worked 1-to-1 with people of all abilities - from people with zero English to international diplomats preparing for proficiency exams.

My education includes linguistics studies and a degree in psychology, plus a certification in teaching English as a second or foreign language (TEFL/TESOL). My teaching experience includes university classrooms, the United Nations, corporate programs, and many one-to-one courses, both online and in person.
