À propos de moi
My name is Ciro and I come from the Amalfi coast. I've been a teacher of Italian as a Foreign Language since 2017. I have many passions, such as linguistics, video games, music, TV series, photography and cooking. They could be all topics of conversation... except for football!
I taught Italian in multicultural classes, with people from all over the world, such as Germany, Austria, Brazil, the US, Spain, France, the UK, Russia, Switzerland, and many more.
I have worked for the Dante Alighieri Society, Berlitz and in Spanish middle and high schools.
I am also a recognised trainer and examiner of the CILS exams by the University for Foreigners of Siena.
I follow the communicative approach, therefore my priority is the oral production. However, I always try to cover all the other language skills, like listening, reading and writing. Grammar is another fundamental pillar: few doses, but necessary!
