I have been a professional tutor of Greek (my first language), as well as a certified translator, for 30 years. I graduated from the Greek & English Language Department of the University of Athens with a BA. I have tutored adult students from Europe, America, Asia and Australia. My extensive experience enables me to adapt any material to the level and needs of each student. I treat language as a tool that helps people to communicate and express their everyday needs, rather than as a system of rigid rules. The student is exposed to and uses Greek from the very first lesson. I use a wide variety of teaching materials ranging from course books to stories, newspaper articles, videos and songs.
