Soy Ximena. Tengo un estilo relajado y conversacional de enseñanza. Nací en Colombia pero crecí en Estados Unidos durante 7 años, así que tengo un acento nativo en ambos idiomas. Soy Profesional en Literatura Hispanoamericana y tengo experiencia enseñando la cultura y el idioma de Colombia a viajeros y expatriotas en Medellín, así que me encanataría continuar haciendo lo mismo para aquellos que buscan viajar a Latinoamérica. Tengo experiencia enseñando ambos español e inglés a niños, traduciendo tanto de inglés-español como de español-inglés. La ventaja de tenerme como profesora es que puedo explicar muchas cosas en inglés y enseñar mucho acerca de la cultura Latinoamericana, específicamente la Colombiana.

I'm Ximena and I have a relaxed, conversational style of teaching. I was born in Colombia but raised in the United States for 7 years, so I'm native in both languages. I have a degree in Hispanic-American Literature and experience teaching the culture and language in Colombia to travelers and expats in Medellín, so I'd love to continue doing that for people who are planning on traveling to Latin America. I have experience teaching both Spanish and English to children and translating both English-Spanish and Spanish-English. The advantage of having me as a teacher is that I can explain a lot of things in English, and teach a lot about Latin American (specifically Colombian) culture.
