I’m originally from the UK and have been living overseas for almost 10 years.
Passionate about culture, communication and problem-solving, I trained to become an English language teacher after graduating in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield. In addition to teaching English, I am a freelance business consultant with experience in executive recruitment, sales and marketing.
Back in 2011, I trained for the Trinity College TESOL Certification in London (UK). I moved to Seville (Spain) and began teaching at a language academy in Seville (Spain). After a number of years, I moved to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and began working as a human resources consultant for multinational organisations. I continued to teach English independently and on a freelance basis.
My teaching style is focused on communication through speaking and listening. I believe that the most effective way to learn a language is by talking about things that are interesting for you or important to you in some way.
I offer resources and tips for you to practice your reading and writing skills during your free time, outside of class. Then, in the following classes, we can review the work that you’ve been doing through conversation.
