Hi!
My name is Kristin. I am 28 years old and originally from the north of Germany, but currently live in London, England.

I have studied to become a teacher and also successfully completed the subsequent graduate training in Cologne, Germany. I am very passionate about language learning and understand the huge rewards, but also challenges that come with it. I teach German and English, but also speak some French and Spanish and just started learning Portuguese as well.

The key element in my teaching style is a communicative approach, which encourages my students to use the target language in spontaneous speech right from the beginning. Thus, vocabulary and grammar need to to be embedded in an authentic context to
not only provide the learner with the right theoretical knoweldge, but also enable him or her to actually use the language effectively.

My goal as a language teacher is to create a positive and supportive, but also challenging environment to develop the potential of every individual learner.

I think it is very important to create dynamic and interactive lessons that my include role play and conversation as well as the use of different media through screen or file sharing.
