My name is Jorge Muñoz Correa and I'm from Medellín, Colombia. I studied Spanish and Literature Teaching and I graduated in January 2017. I've been a teacher since 2011, starting by teaching French, English and Spanish in High School for about 4 years. Since 2017, I've been working as a Spanish teacher as a second language in both face-to-face and virtual modalities, which has been a really great experience since I've had the opportunity to share my language with others and transmit my passion for my mother tongue and the magic of Spanish and Latin American culture.
I'm a kind, patient and easy-going person, who always tries to do everything as good as possible, with eagerness, passion and fun. My purpose in life is to make people feel good around me and teaching is, for me, one of the best ways to achieve it.
My teaching method consists on teaching in context, using the language in real situations, asking students about their lives, experiences and expectations in order to make them find out the real usage of language, always trying to elicit useful information through questions, using it to create a nice speaking environment and make them feel confident to do it.
I think I’m a good listener and I’m also good at asking questions, which is for me one of the best teaching methods. This, combined with my patience and kindness, makes a great recipe for a nice learning environment.

Mes leçons d’essai
The trial lesson consists on having a conversation with the student, in order to know about him / her goals, interests, needs, expectations and language level. It's also a chance to clear up doubts about teaching methods, lessons frequency and others.
