My name is Martin and I am a CELTA Trained English Teacher. I love working with people and teaching them new skills and have been doing so for a number of years. Teaching English is a natural extension of that. I empathize and understand the needs of the beginner language student from a firsthand perspective because I have also had to learn new languages at different times in my life.

I've been blessed with the opportunity to live in several countries including Austria, Ghana, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and currently Thailand. Wherever I've lived, I've always tried to learn the local language. My experience as a student gives me the patience I have as a teacher because I know what it's like to be on the other side.

I will meet you where you are in your English-learning journey and we will work at a pace that's comfortable for you.

My professional working experience includes working in the financial services industry for three years and most recently as a Program Director for almost five years. I am comfortable working with people from all professional backgrounds but if you have a particular interest in improving your Business English, I can assist you with that due to my professional background.

My personal interests include calisthenics (a form of exercise), trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with my wife. We enjoy hiking and doing yoga together.
