I discover I wanted to be a full time teacher when I moved to Poland and started teaching sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I taught the more I liked. I still love teaching cause I understand my culture better and the way Spanish people think. I find that fascinating. To me, explaining why we would say things in a certain way because of our culture is the best bit.
Be sure you will always have contact with the real culture during our lessons.
I usually take a coaching approach. That means we will set goals and every week we will review what we've done so far and what we can do next. My students are the ones that choose the pace they want to learn, I only guide them through the whole journey. When it comes to materials we usually use real life materials like youtube videos and also fun speaking activities to practise specific areas of the language. I do it in a way that my students are engaged while still learning the insights of the language.

Jairo is very frindly and very patient during our lessons. I'm a beginner student in the Spanish language. He is great for beginners.He helps me feel comfortable during the lessons. He did a great job with me.

Jairo es un buen profesor! Tiene toda la clase preparada con actividades que coinciden con mi nivel de castellano. El utiliza una estructura de aprendizaje que aumenta el conocimiento del vocabulario y la gramática española de una manera increíblemente clara. Además, me explica muy bien cuando me equivoco durante la clase y me da mas ejemplos de decir lo que decía. 100% Recomendable :)
