Hey everybody! I am a CELTA qualified native English teacher with a degree in History and Comparative Literature.
I have nearly 6 years experience teaching in the UK, Spain, Germany, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. My experience is varied and I am particularly happy to teach conversation classes, but also Cambridge exam preparation, and vocabulary and grammar practice. I also have good recent experience teaching business England in a professional environment.
I’m a fun and easy-going person and I make it my prerogative for you to feel comfortable and confident in our virtual classroom. I love teaching all ages and normally by the end of the course me and my students are like friends.
I am from the UK and so of course I have a British accent, and will help you to perfect your accents so you sound as natural as possible.
I like to base the course around you as a student and what you would like to learn and practise. We can discuss whatever interests you and then I can help you improve in areas I notice along the way. I’m also more than happy to read and check your essay/emails, etc and have experience of doing this at a university in Germany. In addition I can check business presentations and help you prepare for job interviews.
