Hi! My name is Rignald and I am an online Dutch teacher. I am a Dutch native speaker currently living in Florence, Italy. I have a Master of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Learning foreign languages has always been my biggest passion. I have been teaching online for the past seven years for several language schools using different teaching platforms. I have had students from all over the world with different starting levels and objectives. I have worked for several Dutch language training schools like Elycio Talen, Taleninstituut and Easy Dutch with students from all over the world.
My methods: I always try to first focus on the pronunciation and work our way up from there, because I think that you can't build a good house without a steady foundation.. Of course I always emphasise talking in my lessons, because it's only through using the language, that you will truly improve. I try to get my students as close to the native accent as possible, while giving them extensive explanation about the grammar or even doing some grammar drills, if necessary.
