Hola, my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2015. I have worked in different schools in Barcelona (Education First and Sprachcaffe); London (Spanish House London); in Switzerland (Sprachzentrum) and also as online teacher with students from all over the world. Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become a teacher because I found that teaching is my true professional vocation. I like learning about other cultures and helping everyone who wants to learn my language and the Spanish and Latin-American worlds. My way of teaching is always based on communication. From the first day, I give the students the chance of learning while speaking and practising. I am always open to suggestions and used to adapt the classes to the student's preferences. I hope to hear soon from you, gracias!

Hi everyone! I’m Flavia Ayelén from Argentina. I graduated from the University of Rosario with a master’s degree in applied psychology but transitioned to working full time as a professional Spanish teacher. After I graduated from college, I began to travel around the world, taking all sorts of different jobs and embedding myself, as best I could, as a “local” in many distinct cultures. To help pay the bills, I also began teaching Argentina’s own, special version of Spanish – it has a very particular, unique accent that people seemed to love – imagine what an Italian person might sound like if they were to speak Spanish! In my years of teaching, I’ve developed a serious passion for my newfound profession. It’s not just about grammar or conversation or pronunciation – all all those things are important – but also the lively exchange of different cultures, customs and traditions. In every class I find myself learning as much I am teaching! For all of you struggling to learn – or...
Hi! My name is Elma Janeth Perea. I am from Colombia. I am a Spanish speaker certified in English teaching. I have taught English and Spanish (children, adolescents and adults) at different universities and educational institutions of the region for more than 20 years, and I have a B2 level in French, which I am currently studying. I also have a Master degree in Translation, which has helped me understand how language works for both cultures. Currently, I am working as an English /Spanish teacher and also as a freelance translator/interpreter. I really enjoy talking to people and sharing what I know. I think we really learn by doing, therefore, my teaching is based on the communicative approach, among others, since I know that the more we talk and interact in a language, the more we learn and improve our communicative skills; for this reason, I count on a wide range of material like Power Point presentations, pictures, readings, games, news articles, audios, posters, videos, etc...
