I have been a Portuguese language teacher for international students for more than 12 years at a very well-known school in Porto, Portugal. Hello. I am an European Portuguese teacher.
I am an experienced and certified teacher of Portuguese and English and I have been teaching in the public school system since 1995. I have also been teaching online for the last five years.
I truly believe that 'practise makes perfect', so the more you practise speaking a language, the better you'll do it! I always have a sequence of contents ready to use but I believe it is better to teach according to the student's needs and interests.
I have experience in:
- teaching beginners with no knowledge of the language,
- preparing students for the CIPLE exam (or DIPLE, DEPLE and DUPLE),
- teaching business portuguese,
- improving communication skills: speaking and listening, as well as reading and writing.
