In my music lesson, we talk about great American protest songs Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son,” Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth,” and Jimi Hendrix’s “All Along the Watchtower.” 

I think music is a beautiful, peaceful way to show disillusionment. Songs were used to protest the Vietnam war and to give voice to the civil rights and feminist movements.
