(Attention, because I also have face-to-face classes, before taking a class ask what time I have free as this can change.) Hello everyone, I’m Emilio. I’m from Spain, more precisely, from Andalucía. Because I’m from the south I’ve been speaking "andalusian", listening Spanish from north of Spain which we call "neutral spanish", and also listening Spanish from "Latin America". All of this gave me the ability to know other accents, and imitate them. If you’re interested in other accents I can teach you in. Dialects and accents are the proof that the language is a living thing, because of that, we need to treat them in that way .
Otherwise, I’ve been teaching since I was a little boy, because I have always been teaching myself, and also other people. I’ve been teaching philosophy, music, literature, etc... I have a degree in philosophy, and also E.L.E certification. I love languages because by using different languages you have different tools to grasp the reality and to me this is marvelous.
I see the act of teaching in different ways, but there is only one important attitude: Teacher needs to understand the goals of their students. In some way that requires self-knowledge to understand how we learn. Therefore a good teacher need to be a guide, a help to show which ways are better to complete their task.
In sumary, I am of the opinión that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it. Giving you advice in how to get surrounded by a language and grasp it. My clases, are designed in three parts: listening-speaking-writing. Like a little child, It’s good to start speaking to later wride and read. Anyhow, I have another aproximation to a how teaching a language, and my aim is: How to make the best way to teach you, because not all people learn in the same way. Any kind of teaching requires teaching individualy.
