My name is Dmitry, I am 31 years old, I live in Moscow. I am a native speaker of Russian and a teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
Foreign languages are my passion. I like to learn new languages, discover new countries and cultures, travel, make new friends and, of course, share the beauty of my native language.
Whatever goals in studying the Russian language you have, either:
• Just a short trip to Russia
• Study for the purpose of work / study in Russia
• Preparation for official exams in Russian
• Or maybe you want to read Pushkin, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky in the original ...
I'm sure I can help you and make you closer to achieving these goals.
In my classes, I use the communicative method: in addition to traditional books I choose modern articles, videos, we can watch movies, listen to music, talk on different topics - it all depends on you and your preferences and needs. I try to make it as interesting as possible and support your motivation.
I speak French and Spanish fluently, so mostly my students are francophone or Hispanic. I can teach these languages starting at level zero, even if you still don’t know a single Russian word. But if you have already studied Russian and have a basic level at least, then we can work together regardless of what your native language is.
As I said, foreign languages - it is my great passion, but this is not my main profession. My basic education is medical and I also work as a doctor. So if you need to learn a medical Russian you have definitely found your best teacher.
When I decided to start teaching my native language, I graduated from the course “Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language” at the Institute of Russian Language and Culture at Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov.
At present day, I have 4 years of experience in teaching Russian language. I really like to teach, to see the progress of my students and myself, constantly learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
I thank you for your attention and wait you on my lessons. See you soon!
