Hello,👋
I am a native Mandarin speaker and I grew up in southern Taiwan.
I have been giving online lessons on Verbling since 2018. I have experience tutoring all levels of students, from total beginner to advanced.
I believe learning languages should be fun and without much stress. My goal here is to help you learn at your own pace and making the Mandarin learning experience as pleasant as possible. I also believe that adults learn a new language from speaking. Therefore, we will have lots of opportunities for you to speak and express your thoughts in class.
For beginner and lower intermediate students, classes are designed to learn from textbooks. This will help you build a firm foundation. Even though textbooks are included, we will still have lots of opportunities to practice speaking.
For higher intermediate and advanced students, you can decide whether the classes should include a textbook or not. If you would like to improve your reading skills, we can decide what articles to read together. Writing practices are usually done outside class time and will be discussed in class.

✅ Establish your level of Mandarin
✅ Discuss the days you would like to take your lessons
