I'm a Native English English Teacher from Australia, with a Neutral Australian/British accent.
Tefl qualified, I have taught privately in Berlin and Italy, online, and in schools here in Naples, where I live now.
I studied Photography and work as an artist, and came to teaching after finding a joy in not only the english language, but in helping people to understand, to be understood, and to be able to express themselves.
I have had to learn German, then Italian, after moving throughout Europe, and I take my difficulties in learning these languages into my teaching, knowing what works, what doesn't, and what was missing in my experience of language learning.
I want the focus to be on you, as a student, and as a conversation partner. Who you are is important, though time we can tailor lessons and resources to suit your interests and your needs, because a bored student doesn't learn!
The focus of the lesson is on providing a fun, safe and relaxing environment where you can express yourself and practice using english in real life, and I also find as many resources for my students outside the classroom, from homework to translations, videos and movies, music and articles, keeping things fun and enjoyable, while still providing focused practice in areas of grammatical difficulty.
