Hello,
My name is Dawn and I was born and raised on the East coast of the United States. I am a native English speaker. I am a certified TEFL/TEYL teaching English to young learners teacher. I work with children between the ages of 6 and 14 years old using a planned curriculum, games, and interactive activities. Please message me before booking a session to discuss the needs of your child.
I want to make sure that your child feels comfortable and safe during our lessons. It is okay to make mistakes, we will work through them together (:
I have lessons that can help more advanced learners umderstand the rules of English spelling as well as tips to help easily remember how to spell confusing words.
I also enjoy helping those looking to become fluent in reading in English. Along with spelling and reading, I believe that conversation is more than just a friendly chat. Conversing with a native speaker can aid communication on many levels. Learning to hear tone and to learn how to structure sentences is a wonderful part of conversation lessons.
