My name is Renee. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for about 8 years. I started teaching for a large corporation while living abroad in Germany and continued upon returning to the United States where I taught at a small, family-owned language school. I currently own and operate a community center where I teach English, Spanish, and cultural dance- all of my passions in life! I create the curriculum and teach all classes. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in German, a TESOL certification, and am half way through an MBA program. My approach to language learning is audio-lingual, so lots of speaking practice before reading or writing as well as structural- you will learn a progression of the various grammatical forms. In my classes, you will feel welcome and comfortable. I am easy to talk to and love getting to know people from across the world!
