EXPERIENCE - I'm a qualified Tefl teacher with the Certification, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, 120 hours. I also have a BA Honours Acting Degree and an A Level in English Language & Literature. I'm an experienced teacher on three other online teaching platforms. Over the years, I have assisted my non-native friends with English Language issues and the positive feedback made me realize that I had a calling.
STYLE - As a teacher, I like tackling pronunciation issues. I use a lot of techniques learned during my Bachelor of Arts Degree to aid my students with the typical difficulties they have in this area. I also focus on grammar and place speaking practice at the top of my priority list when working with students. I'm a teacher that seeks to keep my students' level of anxiety as low as possible. I know from personal experience as a student of Spanish this can be a problem. I focus on the needs and level my students are at. I work with students from all over the world. I cover a variety of topics and levels. My classes are engaging and fun. I work closely with my students to help them to reach the goals they desire.
ME - I'm an avid reader and I love writing poetry. My love of the theatre spurred me onto the pursuit of my BA Degree. I love travelling and I spend a lot of time in Spain and working on improving my Spanish. I also enjoy rollerblading, salsa dancing and meeting interesting people. I have a diverse circle of friends in London and I enjoy getting to know people from all over the world and learning about their cultures too.
I have a passion for the English language and I enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible.
