Hi! My name is Amanda Christiansen. I’m a native Danish speaker from Copenhagen/Helsingør and have been teaching Danish as a foreign language since 2016. I currently teach Danish at university level and work with students from beginner to advanced level. I hold a B.A. in Teaching Danish, an M.A. in Scandinavian Studies and an M.A. in Teaching Danish as a Second/Foreign Language for Adults. This gives me a strong professional background in Danish grammar, pronunciation, language acquisition and teaching methodology. I also have experience preparing students for the Danish PD2 and PD3 exams and can provide relevant practice and test materials. I combine these areas rather than teaching them in isolation. We...

I often felt stuck and thought about quitting, but I tried to find the patience and I explored different methods in order to learn. As a person, I am very patient, and it is important for me that you feel comfortable showing me your difficulties and giving your opinion. Before teaching Danish online, I worked ...
